For me it comes down to personal preference: don't give Google, Microsoft, or Meta any data if I can help it. So I stay with Claude/OpenAI.

The site is impossible to navigate when browsing other people's repositories. Very outdated design. Nowhere near GitHub quality.
I personally prefer my own AI music and lyrics to the negative or untrue garbage produced by "artists" in general. But I also flee any content I detect to be AI-generated; written, image, or sound.
Good partnership! Other commenters will find fault in the pair of boxers you once bought because the CEO sneezed the wrong way that one time, then proudly announce a Google partnership in their own companies because it meant big $$$. You worked hard to build this site and got a good partner that cares about privacy much more than almost any other company.
Hence back to OpenAI, which allows use of third-party tools via subscription instead of paying the full API like Anthropic now requires. OpenAI models are currently smarter, faster, and cheaper.
