Outdated by numerous automated window sizer programs like Workspacer WM. Though WindowGrid still works, very few people would find advantage in using it vs newer programs. WindowGrid relies on hotkeys, which become a nuisance to remember, and it requires fumbling around that automated window sizers don't require. Few people would gain an extra benefit from using this program except perhaps people who do scripts and need precise window settings.

It's late 2021, and while the software hasn't been updated since 2016, it is still one of the first things I install on every machine I encounter (I actually made a scoop bucket for it):
scoop bucket add szcoop https://code.lksz.me/szcoop/bucket scoop install WindowGrid
This makes using multiple windows so much more comfortable I highly recommend it.
To address some of the issues others have mentioned below, run this application 'as admin', this way it doesn't get stuck when trying to manipulate elevated windows.

If it had the ability to auto-resize the windows it would be all I'd need. But not bad. I'll give it a shot and see how it fairs out.
Great little piece of software. I have trouble using large or multiple displays without it. It makes snapping windows a breeze and is super fast to learn and use.
Took me a minute or two to figure out how it works, but it is really easy. It's just different because no one has come up w a cool easy way to do this before. :)
UPDATE: Oct 2018 I ended up uninstalling this as it doesn't seem to always stay running or doesn't always respond to the proper clicks to get it to work.
