What is Vanitty?

Vanitty is a free, open-source terminal emulator for Windows, macOS and Linux. It started as a port of Hyper, rewritten in Rust with Tauri instead of Electron, so it starts faster and uses far less memory.

It has tabs and split panes, search in scrollback (with regex), clickable links and file paths, WebGL rendering, and ligatures with FiraCode Nerd Font Mono built in. Profiles give each tab its own shell, environment and colors. You can reopen your last session or saved layouts with all windows, tabs, splits and folders.

Settings are JSON with autocomplete in VS Code, and keybindings work like VS Code's. On first run it imports your Hyper config, and Hyper themes still work in a sandbox. It updates itself in the background.
