What is trolCommander?
trolCommander - fork of the free and opensource 
muCommander filemanager.
trolCommander is a lightweight, cross-platform file manager with a dual-pane interface with tabbed navigation and rich functionality. It runs on any operating system with Java support. It supports multiple virtual systems - FTP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTP, Amazon S3, Hadoop HDFS and Bonjour. muCommander can browse, create and uncompress ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR, GZip, BZip2, ISO/NRG, AR/Deb and LST archives
Unlike muCommander, trolComander contains:
- Find File dialog
- Improved text viewer and editor with syntax highlight
- Improved image viewer that supports a lot of formats: png, gif, jpg, bmp, wbmp, ico, psd, tga, tiff, pnm, pbm, pgm, ppm, scr, svg
- Internal Terminal
- Hex files viewer
- HTML, PDF and DJVU viewer
- Symlink editor
- Calculator
- A lot of improvements and bugfixes

It have all what you need, from any OS. For OSX its a BEST file manager!

When I had to switch to MacOS I were searching for Total Commander replacement. And I found it free of charge - TrolCommander! Thanks a lot Oleg for the development of forgotten MuCommander!
