    If you prefer free, then FFS is a great alternative to SyncBack (unless you go SyncBackPro). The donation-features aren't incredible game-changers, but that's a good thing for people more inclined to donate for extra fluff than being forced to pay for the basics. Can be a bit tricky/fiddly to setup, but once set up it just does it's thing reliably. Less professional than SB(P) though, if you value this.

    It's not a great alternative, as it's got a different premise. It primarily compresses/encrypts folder X as file Y on destination Z for versioning. It's a backup-tool NOT a folder-sync and hence only one direction. Unless this is exactly what you're after.
