      Flameshot vs ShareX opinions
Most users think Flameshot is a great alternative to ShareX.
Flameshot allows you to quickly take a screenshot, draw a couple boxes, and save it to your clipboard faster than any other software I've tried. For me, any additional UI after that point is also a dealbreaker, which flameshot doesn't have. Once you're done with your screenshot, you're done. Quick and simple.

blackwhattack Can't record videos, no global shortcut. ShareX has a lot of great miscellaneous tools (like OCR, color detection). Doesn't automatically suggest a screenshot region based on windows.

no obvious option to add a hotkey, must be executed through GUI with a button. not a massive issue for people who barely take screenshots, but super bad for those of us who use the feature a lot.
