    Wings 3D is a subdivision modeler inspired by Nendo and Mirai from Izware.

    It is possible to assign materials, vertex color, UV coordinates and textures, but there will be improvements in those features before Wings goes 1.0.

    There is no support in Wings for doing animations.

    This is a modelling program, sculptris is a sculpting program. While they both end at a 3d output, the method to get there is completely different.

    This program is mostly aimed at polygonal modelling. While they can both produce a 3d model, Sculptris is specifically aimed at 3d Sculpting and texture painting, something Wings 3d does not do.

    Its quite similar but has a little more tools than usual Kindof more clunky but still, lets you vertex paint your model and still sculpt on it, sadly you cant export a texture map like Sculptris

    Pros: More in depth Vertex Paint and still sculpt PBR Shaders

    Cons: Cant export texture map (But you can export it with vertex colors) Bit more complicated
