What is Quire PDF?

Quire PDF is a Chrome extension for reading and marking up PDFs in a focused workspace.

You can search the text, browse page thumbnails and the document outline, and highlight passages. You can add notes, text, drawings, images and a drawn signature, and fill the form fields already in a PDF. Pages can be reordered, removed, combined with another PDF or exported as a selection. Save an edited copy at any time; a local library keeps your documents and recovers unfinished work.

Documents are processed on your computer. There are no accounts, no analytics and no uploads to a document service, and PDF scripts are disabled.

Limits, stated plainly: Quire PDF adds to a page but does not rewrite the original text. It has no OCR, no secure redaction and no certificate-based signing, and XFA forms are not supported.

It is part of the Quire family of private readers for Chrome, alongside Quire EPUB Reader and Quire Markdown.
