    Just like QuickTime, but better. It supports many more formats, has many more features, and is just more enjoyable to use. Works and feels a lot like QuickTime. Definitely better than VLC as a Mac alternative.

    Best open-source MacOS video player. Much better than QuickTime — supports more formats, has more features, yet it's still clean and easy to use with a MacOS feel to it (compared to VLC).
