QuickLook
Bring macOS “Quick Look” feature to Windows.
What is QuickLook?
Background : One of the few features I missed from Mac OS X is Quick Look. It allows user peek into a file content in a lightening speed by just pressing the Space key. Windows, on the other hand, does not has this handy feature ... until now.
I am aware that several alternatives are already available on the Internet (e.g. WinQuickLook and Seer). Despite these options, I still decide to craft another one by myself, because they are either not being actively developed, lacks of variety, or asks for a amount of $$$.
Highlights : Tons of supported file types Built-in list: https://github.com/QL-Win/QuickLook/wiki/Supported-File-Types) Plug-ins : https://github.com/QL-Win/QuickLook/wiki/Available-Plugins Fluent design (new in version 0.3) Touchscreen friendly HiDPI support Preview from Open and Save File Dialog Preview from 3rd-party file managers (see a list here) Easy extended by plugins Strict GPL license to keep it free forever

Does exactly what it should. Really nothing else to say about it but that it's awesome and I think should be included as default.
Finally a simple one click previewer that is extensible with plugins. The first true Shapefile previewer that's worth installing.
Excellent and quick file viewer
Perfect integration of the Mac File Preview feature in Windows 10 (video, photos, pdf, txt, etc.). A must-have tool. Simple and lightweight. Make your life easier.
This has seamlessly previewed everything I have thrown at it, include odd items like gdocs links. Looks pretty slick doing it too.
Free and open source - highly recommended.
This is the perfect equivalence to macOS' built-in Quick Look feature. I'd honestly go as far as to say it surpasses the macOS equivalent by far in terms of speed and performance. In my case I often preview audio files from the desktop and macOS Quick Look fails miserably in that it doesn't restart the audio file if you happen to press Space multiple times on the same audio file, sometimes not even if you've switched file. And it also adds an annoying fade-in on the audio which makes it below par, really. This one, however, does it all perfectly. A job well done, Mr Paddy Xu!
Amazing tool! Super clean and really fast. It has a version available in the Windows Store of W10, which is a great advantage for easy and quick installation. Super recommended!
