Most open source apps offer out-dated or classic material design UI. If the apps works great and the UX is not terrible you might find it okay. It is a pretty simple app that does one thing and does it well - change your Android wallpaper at pre-determined intervals, choosing from a set of images on the device. I'm surprised that it seems to be the only app out there that does this.
