Open source apps are known for bad/inintuitive design. If the apps works great and the UX is not terrible you might find it okay. But intuitive UI are better, and modern looking ones are pleasant to use, sadly they are not the majority. Here is my list of Beautiful Open Source Apps for your iPhone ! Nice UI comes to personnal preference. So this list is only based on my taste of what is a good modern looking app.
While open source is great for privacy and security it is not perfect. So keep that in mind before downloading any apps. I again encourage you to do your own research about them and read their Privacy Policies.
I am not a privacy and security expert. I'm also don't consider myself as a developper so I do not have any technical knowledge and so I didn't look into any source code of any apps in this list !
The AdGuard iOS client is open source. So if you want to block ads and trackers on iOS this is the way !
A manga reader for your iPhone !
AltStore is an alternative app store for non-jailbroken iOS devices.
AltStore is an iOS application that allows you to sideload other apps (.ipa files) onto your iOS device with just your Apple ID. AltStore resigns apps with your personal development certificate and sends them to a desktop app, AltServer, which installs the resigned apps back to your device using iTunes WiFi sync. To prevent apps from expiring, AltStore will also periodically refresh your apps in the background when on the same WiFi as AltServer.

Why even use iOS to begin with if you care about open source.
I LOVE Bitwarden. You should also state that everyone should use a secure password manager instead of just relying on their computer's or browser's keychain/saved passwords. I've noticed those things can get cleared sometimes without knowing. Thanks for this list!
