What is Tayu?

Tayu is a live wallpaper app with ambient sound for Mac. It brings quiet 4K nature scenes, YouTube wallpapers, playlists, schedules, and AI scene switching to your desktop.

It is made for focused work and small breaks, turning the same desk into a calmer place with motion, natural sound, and time-aware ambience.

Free, forever:

  • Curated library of 4K nature scenes, each with matched ambient sound
  • Any YouTube video as your wallpaper
  • New library scenes as they are added

Pro (one-time $9.99, no subscription):

  • Playlists with shuffle
  • Schedules that change scenes through the day
  • Flow: AI picks scenes based on time of day and weather

Also: Overlay mode for full-screen breaks, and battery saving that pauses video or switches to a still image when your Mac is unplugged. All Pro features can be tried free for 7 days, no credit card required.
