It's not compatible with PHP 7.1+
I'm looking for a software that I can use to manage my customers and service invoices. This software looked very promising, but I found it to be buggy, and incompatible with the most current version of PHP (7.2).
I managed to get some of it to work on my local server, but most of the buggy functionality seems to be a known AJAX issue (commonly known as the "white bar of death").
Today this is a non-issue. osTicket now supports PHP 8.4 as of 2025.
This application is perfect for small companies who needs free helpdesk system in order to help their customers. The customers don't have to register to create a ticket. They just need a valid e-mail address. This one also has a knowledge base system to help out with common problems.
Is a very good help desk support system, but it lacks business days option for SLA's. Only 24x7.
