Fastest and lightweight simple text editor bundled with all Windows OS. Just plain text, saves in .txt format. So it has been used by people for long time Since 1980s. Features improved especially since 2018.

Hardcore app. But it's like windows trademark. It's useful for a lot of simple tasks whitch require quick editor.
Leave it to Microsoft to make a simple notepad bloated and unstable.

I use this app every day and haven't got any complaints about it. So simple but so great.
Except mspaint.exe, the only decent application included with Wind(bl)ows nowadays.
