Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: Windows 7 earns strong praise for its speed, familiar interface, Aero features, usability, lower bloat, and generally better experience than Vista, Windows 8/10, and—according to some users—Linux. Built-in imaging, VHD mounting, defragmentation, and backup tools are useful, though backup retention and edition-specific features have limitations. Critics cite security, driver support, maintenance, bugs, and end-of-support concerns, while many retain nostalgic or practical affection for it.

I love it. It has (for me) the best interface that any Windows ever had. It gives you the best of its predecessor Windows XP without the experimental shit of new versions. If it were still valid it would be my most used OS

Was my childhood operating system.

In terms of privacy, this is a little bit private but still has some telemetry unlike Windows 10 where it's almost a total spyware.

Overall definitely a nice and wonderful OS of its time.
