What is Arch Linux?
Arch Linux is an independently developed, i686- and x86_64-optimised GNU/Linux distribution targeted at competent Linux users. It uses pacman, its home-grown package manager, to provide updates to the latest software applications with full dependency tracking. Operating on a rolling release system, Arch can be installed from a CD image or via an FTP server. The default install provides a solid base that enables users to create a custom installation. In addition, the Arch Build System (ABS) provides a way to easily build new packages, modify the configuration of stock packages, and share these packages with other users via the Arch Linux user repository.

Rolling release and AUR are awesome
Using this Linux distribution exclusively on my PC. Yes, It has a learning spike when it comes to installation and configuration (requiring you to check the very well documented wiki pages) but after you are all set up it's a breeze. The system is fairly stable, very modular and Pacman is the absolute best package manager. Most popular software are available from the official repositories and the missing ones can be found on the AUR or unofficial repositories. The OS is rolling release, so you are always getting the newest software on your PC in it's original state, as intended by the developer, a few days after it's release. This also means it will also support newer hardware and perform better on it because of newest kernels and drivers. Overall, if you don't mind dropping into a terminal once in a while this one is a great choice.
This is exactly why I picked this linux distro, it has a very nice learning curve and there config wiki is maybe only comparible to Slackware. But if you don't want to compile all the packages all day ever day, Arch Linux is a perfect choise. You can also configure it the way you like, can even run it in minimal core mode with very few packages. And combining Arch Linux with i3wm its a power user dream come true.

Arch packages has no reviews at all in 2022...

It's very costumizable and bleeding edge, however it's also very hard to work with.
The fact that it's free and open source is reason enough to use it. User-friendly.
Arch Linux can be the best option for linux-gaming because of ReplaySorcery and similar software.
Arch has really odd and useless programs like sl: https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/sl They are not tagged as joke or something by maintainers...
This is just a community package not installed by default, it should not be a reason to give Arch a negative review.
