Apple II era graphics

OK, I've never played it but the graphics are a major turn-off.

Kind of the point, but the pictures here are actually outdated.

I added updated screenshots from latest version 1.7.2, released 2 weeks ago :)

Thanks! Looks much better than Classic!

Actually, I think I need a better graphics card for this -- The graphics are very non-optimized and extremely laggy. Minetest has much better fps, and is better in many other ways, too. Have you ever heard of Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders? It makes Minecraft look very good. But even without it, it has many things the apple II didn't have, such as the fact that the graphics are 3d. The graphics even have smooth lighting! So, even though Minecraft is made of blocks, it actually has very modern, and laggy, graphics.

old classic

It's rumored that iPhone and Android versions of Minecraft are going to be released this year.

Yep, they've finally released the Android version of Minecraft. Too bad it's only for the Xperia Play right now. Hopefully, somebody will make a .apk version of the app that can be sideloaded onto other phones.

Nice! I just got a Minecraft card code for FREE! :D
