    Everyone likes Minetest but it is not compatible with Minecraft. I recently googled Minecraft web client and found mcraft fun which is also open source, worked insanely well in my case, and I wish there were more projects like this. Like compatible with Minecraft in any way: make some migrations tools or anything, please! But still a very interesting project with a large community though!

    Absolutely a better game than minecraft in my opinion, but the reality is most audiences who still like minecraft will not like this. It's much more realistic, detailed, and hence more effort is required to play. Also, by default it has much harder survival mechanics, like food preservation and temperature.

    Minecraft may have a lot of features, but Vintage Story has a more realistic feel to it. From the videos I have watched, I can tell I will be picking up this masterpiece of a game.
