Comments about OBS Studio as an Alternative to Loom
Efficient right out of the box
OBS Studio (which is absolutely free) has features that are only available on premium plans of Loom. Also, at the time i'm writing this Loom does not offer as much support for Linux or Firefox users. Plus, OBS Studio incredibly customisable and featureful, yet still relatively easy to use.

Most users think OBS Studio is a great Loom alternative.
OBS Studio is the most popular Windows, Mac & Linux alternative to Loom.
OBS Studio is the most popular Open Source & free alternative to Loom.
- OBS Studio is Free and Open Source
- OBS Studio is Customizable, Privacy focused and Lightweight

OBS is a powerful tool but also comes with a lot of complexity. Loom has a more user-friendly & polished design. You can use OBS to do the same thing as Loom, but it's like driving a monster truck to a grocery store; sure you can do it, but it's easier with a simple sedan.
