Comments about Aegis Authenticator as an Alternative to Google Authenticator
Top Positive CommentMost Recent CommentkindofkayReplying to an older comment: it applies icons via an icon pack, which it links in-app as a download if you want it
photonbakaSimple yet effective OSS authenticator app. Encrypted database, local/cloud backup; other security features much better than corporate options. Default icon pack could be included and auto-assigned, but better than nothing.

Comments about andOTP as an Alternative to Google Authenticator
It offers the same functionality as other open source TOTP apps, but additionally offers plain-text (unencrypted) and encrypted backups of your configured TOTP accounts. This app also features a dark mode for nicer view. Besides that, the app offers a lot of different icons to apply to every TOTP entry, so you can find your desired entry easier, if you have a lot in total. To make finding the specific entry even easier, you can assign tags to them, as well.
I like it because it is open source. It has good features. More secure. And doesn't have useless features unlike google auth while has more good features.
