Git Extensions is soo underrated... I think it's the best Git GUI out there.
Lightweight Git wrapper. 3 version brings enhanced interface, some preview and tips inside modal windows may help to newbies and just save some time. But Differ is still puzzled, you should be very careful and look what panel highlight commit of interest.
Actually version 2.51 still rather good and works on linux. Although it has some bugs in displayng but I still prefer it. 2.51 development is over, only bugfixes.
Simple, fast, lot of features and plugins.
