I've been a Premium subscriber to Deezer for almost 2 years. It's worth the price (€5 here).
It's a great alternative to Spotify, and I enjoy its much simpler interface compared to Spotify. Other than that, they basically have the same music collection and features. (Except for user base - Spotify has a lot more users, but Deezer is still a big player.) Deezer's Flow feature is also great and has been praised in many places.
These streaming services are great since you can legally listen to and discover music for free or a low price.
I'm using Deezer for couple years. Too bad it's updating rarely but I loving the app anyways. I'm using Hi-Fi subscription and its ways better than Spotify
I don't consider this free, because you can't play any playlist without paying a subscription. You can only play 1 or 2 songs and then they switch and impose the music they want. So, i don't consider this free.
I have used Deezer over Spotify almost exclusively for the last 4 or 5 years, but now that my annual Premium subscription ended, they're asking me for 10.99€/month (before was 6.99€/month...) - Portuguese market prices. Switching back to Spotify obvs, at least they don't almost doubled their price (still 6.99€/month for Premium). Too bad, I prefer Deezer's mobile app, it's more intuitive, more simple - and I also prefer their queue system. But at least with Spotify I can have a Linux Desktop native app, and more importantly, I can afford it!
Once you've registered an Account and you have their free plan, try playing music and you'll find that even if you use one of their playlists...it only plays 30 seconds of a song. Who needs free unlimited skips when a song is only playing for 30 seconds, by the time you sneeze it'll be done.
If you are looking for a Web-Browser based alternative to Spotify or others - LOOK ELSEWHERE.
Good app for listening music
Greatest UI and UX. Just love the integration with socials and ability to share effortlessly. Cheap too.
