Comments about VLC Media Player as an Alternative to PotPlayer
It's multi-platform, free and open source.
It's very simple to use with no fancy or bloated interfaces yet it has a lot of options for all my needs when using it on the PC and it works perfectly out of the box on other systems too even for playing videos over the network.
No thumbnail preview when hover on seekbar.
I do not use Windows, and PotPlayer is Windows-only. That automatically means I cannot use it. I just moved completely to Linux a week ago after CoPilot appeared on my PC after an update, and remained after uninstall. I really LIKE PotPlayer, but again, now that I'm Linux-only on all 4 PCs, it's of no use to me. VLC is the next, closest alternative.
