Apple Reminders
With Reminders, you can keep track of all of life’s to-dos—when and where you need to do them.
What is Apple Reminders?
Reminders is a component of iOS and macOS that allows users to set notifications for themselves and create lists. It was a new feature in iOS 5 and OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion". It can sync data between iOS and OS X through iCloud.
Use Reminders for projects, groceries, and anything else that you want to keep track of. You can set when and where you want to be reminded. You can also remind yourself to get back to something you’re doing in another app. And with iCloud, you can keep your reminders up to date across all of your devices.

Unfortunately, I cannot export my to-do list from Reminders. According to the knowledge base article "Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud" [0], exporting requires macOS Mojave or earlier, but I use macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. [0] https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204055

Unfortunately, Reminders cannot export, back up, or print a to-do list. As a workaround, I took a screenshot of the to-do list.
According to the user guide "Tag reminders on Mac" [3], Reminders supports tags on to-dos. This didn't work on my computer, so I can try updating to the latest version.

While it started out underpowered, Reminders has become a solid, multi-featured task management application with the ability to create multiple lists and, through iCloud, to share them/co-edit them. I use it for work and home. Multiple desktop and mobile instances stay in sync.
Anyone able to advise on a good task app that syncs live with reminders iOS app. Use outlook on my desktop for tasks mainly and want an alternative to the ios ap reminders app.
