Deezer just launched a free AI music detector for all major streaming platforms
Deezer has launched a free online AI music detector supporting 27 languages and more than 20 music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, YouTube Music, and more. The tool enables users to scan their playlists for AI-generated tracks regardless of their preferred streaming service. Deezer’s detector identifies AI-generated music from leading models, including Suno and Udio, and offers the potential to expand detection to other generative tools, provided sample data is available.
To use the detector, users visit Deezer’s dedicated page, select their streaming service, and connect their account. Deezer then scans selected playlists and displays shareable results detailing which tracks are AI-generated. This streamlined process is based on Deezer’s proprietary AI music detection technology and is designed to require only a few simple steps.
The launch follows a recent Deezer and Ipsos survey across eight countries, which found that 80% of respondents support clear labeling of AI-generated music. Furthermore, 73% indicated they want platforms to explicitly tag music produced by artificial intelligence. The new detector addresses these market preferences by helping bring transparency to streaming playlists.
