ClickUp 3.54: Microsoft Teams search, rich link previews, and automated task updates

ClickUp 3.54 introduces Connected Search for Microsoft Teams, letting users access past Teams conversations directly within ClickUp for added task and project context. Rich link previews now display contextual cards for content from platforms like Spotify, Miro, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

A new automation action enables automatic sending of Chat messages when tasks are updated, such as notifications for completions, deadlines, or new assignments, reducing communication delays. Additionally, task updates can now be pushed to Chat without manual input.

Users can also create new groups in List View with a single click, bypassing the need to access Settings for property edits. The option to "Add [Status/Property/Field]" has been introduced at the bottom of List Views grouped by status, label, dropdown, tag, or task type.
