I've used Miro for remote workshops and solo brainstorming. The infinite canvas and template library for retrospectives and design sprints are genuinely well-crafted — for pure ideation, few tools come close.

very steep pricing (per user per month pricing model) once the doorbuster free plan is exceeded – nothing unexpected with a venture capital backed platform. it looks pretty, but if you "just need a whiteboard for collaboration", it's quite bloated and the time investment your colleagues have to make to learn the tool may quickly lead to a lock-in effect.

Hard to beat for ideation; the gap to execution adds up over time.
