Seems obvious, but I use it ALL THE TIME to look after applications, check if they are open-source, their core functionalities, reviews, alternatives, comments, etc. I also like to discover new apps this way!
It's a userscript manager, It's easier and less power-consuming than using extensions, you can customize the code of all scripts, create new ones, etc. If you don't already know about it, go check out userscripts, they are really nice to use!
Probably the best ad-blocker you can find. I love this one, you can also block things a more advanced way as well and the app is really customizable. While being very easy to use when you don't care about customizing stuff.
Even if it's maybe not written on alternativeto, the app is open-source as well! Very good app. I was using Atom before but Atom is way more power consuming than this app.
