I used it in the past, but it's pretty buggy, and there's no way to import/export your data. I now use Showly which is way better and fully open source.

Probably the worst AI stuff I've seen this year (and I've seen a lot of them…). Basically, a shitty AI-powered version of Wikipedia where the only contributor is… Elon Musk. Nothing more to say.

Probably the worst music streaming platform in terms of ethics, artists' remuneration, and use of generative AI… I've switched to Deezer, which is way better in terms of AI use and artists' remuneration, but also has some ethics' issues. So I think I'll probably end up switching to Qobuz, which seems to be the best platform for music listening (independent, good ethics, no AI-powered music generation, very good...

Love how this basic tool compares its features to Photoshop and Canva on its website…

Simple, lightweight, and nicely designed image editor. It can do all the basic stuff (rotate, crop, contrast, luminosity, vignette, etc.), which is enough for 99% of photo editing. It's not as feature-complete as Snapseed, for example, but it's completely free and open source.

Good web browser that's shipped by default with GrapheneOS. It's a privacy-focused version of Chromium, so it's lightweight, fast, and regularly updated.

Really interesting project! In short, WebVM is a complete Linux desktop environment that runs in WebAssembly in the browser — and uses Tailscale for networking.

The only screen recorder I've managed to get to work properly on Wayland. It's simple, fast, lightweight, and does what I need, so it's perfect. There's also Wayfarer that's supposed to work on Wayland, but I wasn't able to install it on Fedora.

I've switched from Notion to Nuclino because I find it to be less cluttered and better for team collaboration. The UI is really clean, and you can easily manage different teams, with lots of teammates/colleagues.

Fun and beautiful game. Got it for the Nintendo Switch for $3.99, so this was a steal!

The premium plan costs between $3 and $5 a month, or $100 for lifetime access… for a motivational quotes' app… WTF? 🤯

Really good piece of software! It allows you to take screenshots, to annotate them, to record your screen, etc. You can easily configure options and keyboard shortcuts, and it's easy to use and lightweight.

Just switched from Floorp to Zen Browser, and I prefer the experience so far. It's a bit less customizable, but it's more than enough for my needs. It has support for vertical tabs, web panels, split views, workspaces, and it even has a very nice compact/zen mode without any distraction. Furthermore, it's also more stable, and it crashes less on my laptop, compared to Floorp.

Almost all the five-star reviews are made by newly-created accounts with no other activity, and emphasize that the software is “really 100% safe”, not suspicious at all… It's like receiving a spam that starts by “This is not a scam!”. I'll pass…
