Considering the downsides related to the UI below, I was surprised that Miller columns were built in. cons: The problem is that due to the outdated UI that was only usable in the early 2000s, the overall UX is less intuitive and less accessible and difficult. For example, bookmarks cannot create folders. If you cannot create folders, how do you manage many bookmarks folders? Overall, it lacks advanced features for a paid app. It doesn't have the bulk file renaming feature found in other free explorer apps. It seems that it can be done with a script, but it seems very difficult for first-time users to use. It's hard to use anymore, so I guess I'll have to stop here. I will write more reviews later.

Xplorer2 is one of the best programs in Windows that I used more than of 9 years. I can't image Windows OS without Xplore2. So fast and light (Native Programming) with too many options to customization.
Very simple and powerful.

It annoys me right off that I can't easily find a way to compare folders vertically. The setting may be somewhere, but not where I would expect it.
Very lightweight, but has tons of features like mass-renamer, filters, tabs, etc. I always have like 20 tabs opened and the memory consumtion is only about 10 MB.
The icons are not nice, but you can replace them easily (toolbar skinning feature).
Note: I'm not even using the PRO version.
+The first software I'll install in my computer +Blazing fast & easy to configure (See 381 pages manual)
Anything that requires a 381 page manual is not "easy".

This is best filemanger what i have used. Even free version is really good, but it is lite with lesser options. I was going to buy the full version, but i noticed you can get full version for free. Just go http://zabkat.com/trialpay_wall.htm take inkclub instant deal. Order some shit, they send receipt your @mail. Send that to confirm you "buy some stuff". Then you get full license and best part is you dont have to pay those inkclub orders because just leave the stuff into post office. Post office returns those inkclub stuff if you dont gonna get them and pay. It may sound little cheating but i read terms very vell and its 100% legal.
Are you proud of being a cheapskate? $30 is not that much.

Actually bateman has probably unwittingly helped Zabkat. I had no idea there was such a thing a "trialpay", and perhaps there have been others over the years since his post that have also been unaware and gone on to use it to the benefit of Zabkat. Not justifying his rather unethical activity though.
Regardless, xplorer² is a great dual pane file manager. I see that it's been around for many years and has been consistently ranked as one of the best file managers.
