Audacity's twin which is free and open source without analytics.
not sure what to think about, downloaded from Codeberg, got a warning from Windows Defender what for me not happend on Open Source Software in a while, so i checked it the latest and 3 previous versions on Virustotal. "tenacity-win-v1.3.1-x86_64.exe" 1 Detection: Bkav Pro - W32.AIDetectMalware "tenacity-win-v1.3-beta3-x86_64.exe" 1 Detection: MaxSecure - Trojan.Malware.121218.susgen "tenacity-win-1.3.0-x86_64.exe" 0 Detection "saucedacity-1.2.1-win-x86_64.zip" 0 Detection so can anyone tell me if in the latest version its just a false positive?
False positives there are over 56 engines, all detect nothing expect 3. And even of those 3, 2 state unsafe so nothing detailed and when run on any.run you can see no external connections.

It's a very good fork of Audacity
I want to give this a positive review. It works well on my Windows machines, but on my main Linux machines, there's no repo or appimage. I attempted to compile using their detailed steps, but it keeps failing, likely because they're requiring an outdated wxWidgets.
Tenacity is available as a Flatpak via Flathub.
I appreciate that, but I'm not comfortable installing another repository for a single app.
Not comfortable using a Flatpak? Alrighty then.... If it was a Snap package, I could kind of understand not wanting to use it.

I think it's a good fork.
Audacity, but with the absence of telemetry and the inclusion of Dark Audacity's nicer looking theme.
