Doesn't play most videos.

It's a pitty that it doesn't play most of my video's, even after installing different codecs. Could have been a nice tool, but I'm now looking for an alternative.

On Win7 64bit I found the application to be relatively stable in the short time I used it but I couldn't really use it much since it would not open an h.264 file in the mp4 container.

Not stable on my Windows 7 x64.

Author announced in Sep 2010 that a new version is in the works. This comes after nearly two years without any release activity. Latest release was Subtitle Workshop 4 Beta 4 in 2008.
