Said about Subtitle Editor as an alternative

Maybe not as complete, but it has the same basic functions, like editing, subtitle sync (move subtitles), support for video player and waveform, translation, framerate switch, grammar tools, etc. For me, Subtitle Editor works much better on Linux than SubtitleEdit and it's better than Gaupol.
