Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: Stremio is celebrated for its user-friendly interface, ease of use, and calendar feature. Users appreciate its extensive catalogue of extensions and seamless streaming service, often citing it as a great free alternative to Netflix. However, there are concerns regarding its Terms of Service and file handling capabilities; some describe it as a 'honeypot' while others warn about its data privacy risks. There's a suggestion to use VPN for safer torrent-related usage.

The video makes highly suspect claims and is 7 years old. Stremio's EULA seems nothing more than covering their asses. Which is only expected since the intellectual property field is full of bloodthirsty piranhas.

Way more user-friendly than Emby and Jellyfin, slick interface and you can beef it up with plugins. The downside - at least in version 4.3.0 - is that it's still a pain to integrate and stream your own media files.
