What is SoloMD?
SoloMD is a free, MIT-licensed Markdown editor built with Tauri 2 (Rust + Vue 3). It combines a Typora-style live-preview writing experience with knowledge-management features: wiki links, backlinks, a relationship graph, saved views and a properties table over plain .md files. Extras include export to PDF/DOCX/HTML/PNG and Pandoc formats, optional AI integration (bring-your-own-key for 14 providers, or fully local via Ollama), Git-based version history, GitHub sync with optional end-to-end encryption, an MCP server and CLI for automation, and 14 interface languages. Native apps on all five platforms; ~15 MB installer; no accounts, no telemetry by default, no paid tier.
