SKTimeStamp is described as 'Very simple shell extension which adds a new tab to the Explorer properties dialog. On that new tab, you can change the file/folder date and time' and is an app in the file management category. There are more than 10 alternatives to SKTimeStamp for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, BSD and File Explorer apps. The best SKTimeStamp alternative is Bulk Rename Utility. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Bulk Rename Utility or Keep It Shot. Other great apps like SKTimeStamp are F2, Transnomino, BulkFileChanger and PhotoME.
None of the "BULK" file tools are a suitable replacement for Date Edit. A simple right click adjust of file date w/o a separate dialog is what Ninotech's Date Edit did/does for me on XP. I want that simplicity! Nothing more.
