PuTTY vs SecureCRT opinions
Putty is light weight and runs as a standard for all the platform, so no trouble switching the OS.
few features are not there as provoking some other software as Citrix or some other web browsers. button for shortcuts are not there. basically the GUI features are missing but that would be the cost for lightweight i guess...

MobaXterm vs SecureCRT opinions
jineshkaiprathI have tried all alternatives. Yes Putty stands out for simplicity and speed. But no advanced features. ZOC and Xshell are good but MobaXterm stands out. Its free with minor annoyance and no important features missing. It can be customised and is an all in one place for RDP , SSH ( which I use ) and others. So I regard this as the best alternative.
Rich in features, easy to use for even noobies.
Much better interface, supports multiple types of connections (specifically SSH and RDP) and the interface is much better and more modern
