No distractions. Put your search and enjoy...
Video stops or gets out of sync whenever phone gets into landscape mode or vice-versa. Audio stops for a couple of seconds when the screen is turned off. Crashes regularly.
The best application to watch youtube videos without ads on android, and you can subscribe to channels without an account.
IT's good, but sometimes the videos shows error while playing , and also, the downloaded audios are .opus files, which are hard to open, some media players can't open .opus files. Live streaming is a big problem, also, there is lack of playlist system in newpipe.
Otherwise, it's very good, I use Newpipe in daily basis instead of default YouTube.
Great FOSS front-end for YT
Only downside, every once in a while, YouTube changes its website rendering newpipe unusable until the update. Don't panic, just use new pipe legacy until then
