I use mRemoteNG at work to log on to Windows servers (RDP) and Linux servers (ssh). Wanted something similar at home where I run Ubuntu and Kubuntu. I remembered Ubuntu coming with Remmina and it supported VNC, RDP, and ssh. This fits into what I need and works great.

Software update cycle is much more often and recent, documentation is current and extensive, it's supported on multiple OS platforms, and the community support is far superior than with mRemoteNG. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Works quite well for SSH and Telnet but no RDP. Also it's not really open source as what's provided is very out of date and incomplete.
