Of all the Launchpad alternatives I've seen, this is the most similar to the system's native Launchpad.

What is LaunchOS?

LaunchOS is a software designed to function as an application launcher for macOS 26 Tahoe, mirroring the native Launchpad experience. It focuses on fine details that impact daily interactions and is not centered on feature stacking or excessive customization. The software automatically adapts to your screen size upon installation and offers upgrades not available in Apple’s Launchpad, such as adjustable grid layout for more apps per page and vertical scrolling for faster browsing.

Built with Swift + AppKit, LaunchOS provides a smooth, pixel-perfect transition and blends with macOS 26’s liquid glass look. It's lightweight at only 8.2MB and includes features such as right-click shortcuts, vertical scroll mode, the ability to hide unused apps, launching with trackpad gestures, hot corners, or the keyboard F4 key, custom app renaming, and custom app sources.
