    • Fast, great results, one of the MOST private. It doesn't track you (although there's not a search proxy). Best alternative to EVERY search engine. karaboungalosMay 2017 • 4 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    • DuckDuckGo isn't itself a search engine from what I can tell. Rather it does provide privacy by hiding your personalized IP Address. It also allows you to easily use a number of standard or non-standard search engines. And you can specify which engine to use on a per-search basis. It appears to default to Bing. Highly recommended. • A search engine that respects your privacy probably more than you do, and does not choose what information it wants you to read. Such as google's pro-Hillary filtering. mr_darkerSep 2016 • 3 agrees and 3 disagrees Disagree   Agree

    • Searx is open-source. Its business model doesn't involve recording everything you search for and using this to build a profile of all your browsing and then selling that information. Searx is a privacy-respecting search engine, similar in its goals to DuckDuckGo and Startpage. JohnFastmanDec 2016 • 3 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Uses proxy!!! That's a feature only a few search (or meta-search) engines have! Plus open source. There's a huge variety of sites you can choose from. Framasoft's search engine is based on searx (framabee.org). Results might not be accurate sometimes, but that's because it doesn't track you at all! karaboungalosMay 2017 • 1 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
