Comments about Vivaldi as an Alternative to Google Chrome
Comment summary: Vivaldi is frequently praised for its high level of customization, privacy-focused features, and its use of the Chromium engine, allowing compatibility with Chrome extensions. Users commend its built-in tools and user-friendly interface, although some report minor bugs and slower performance compared to Chrome. Overall, Vivaldi appeals to power users seeking more control and a feature-rich browsing experience beyond what Chrome offers.Top Positive CommentSascha SmitVivaldi is a lot more customisable than Chrome, Vivaldi has a lot more features than Chrome, Vivaldi is more privacy focused and it's based on the Blink engine (also known as Chromium) so switching to Vivaldi is very easy + it supports Chrome extensions.
Most Recent Commenteric-scolesVivaldi has made RADICAL performance gains - it used to be much slower than Brave, but now is at least as fast. If I'm open to using a Chromium browser, it's going to be Vivaldi, hands-down. Whether they continue to support older Chrome extensions is an open question (their hand may be forced on that).
laurabrownI like Vivaldi still but I'm looking to switch. It has a couple of small glitchy things that just keep bugging me. One, when I highlight a URL it gets cut off unless I click it a second time. Only Vivaldi does this. Second, opening a new tab is not automatically in the background, or not. I have not found a setting to make them all open in the background. I just have to remember the extra click each time. Small things, but features I use a lot so they become kind of annoying.

Comments about Microsoft Edge as an Alternative to Google Chrome
Comment summary: Microsoft Edge receives praise for its lower resource usage compared to Google Chrome, with many users finding it faster and valuing its privacy focus. It supports Chrome extensions due to its Chromium base, appealing to users switching from Chrome. Enhanced features and native Windows integration attract positive feedback, though some criticize Edge's bloat and privacy issues. Others prefer open-source options due to its proprietary nature.Top Positive CommentichimitchA few years ago if you told me that my main browser would be a Microsoft product I would have laughed in your face; but here we are. I love the features of this browse.
Top Negative CommentJohn FastmanIf you want to use a browser's Incognito mode (called Private Browsing in Firefox and Safari), you don't want where you go to be recorded in files stored on your computer. Microsoft Edge DOES store info about where you've been, even if you've been there using its InPrivate mode. (http://betanews.com/2016/01/30/stop-using-microsoft-edges-inprivate-mode-if-you-value-your-privacy/). Switch to an open source browser. There are plenty of good ones.
Most Recent CommentUbellThe mouse gestures are now included and very convenient.
However, news that I had hidden on the top page are displayed without my knowledge. If the ads displayed there were not the worst, I would use Edge.

Great design, minimalistic looks. If you are in the Apple ecosystem is great. The downside is that it has no extension for example LastPass for password manager and DF Tube for YouTube, if you can live without extensions... its a great browser.

Insecure wi-fi protection.
Of all the browsers I use, Yandex is the most stable, fast and fluid, I have it as my default browser and I highly recommend it.
Easy to use. You can make it extremely secure using one file. Perfect extension support. All the features of Chrome, without being a data harvester.
