This is like FL studio but free2
It's probably the best free DAW I've ever come across. It is so capable. When I got used to it, I was astonished about how much I could achieve with it. I couldn't stop telling my producer friends about it. They all use REASON and CUBASE and obviously they don't take me seriously because I never did a music production course and they have; so telling them about this good DAW means nothing to them. I love it nonetheless.25
It’s not even close to being considered DAW, let alone an alternative to FL Studio-1
lmms is good but, the problem i have with it is that it's that theres not many plugins and the vst support kinda sucks1

Ardour is not "simply a recorder", it's a fully featured DAW, and while Ardour's general layout differs from FL's layout, it can be used to a full extent as a multi-purpose workstation in addition to audio recording, be it MIDI editing or electronic music.1
FL Studio is to do with Music production, Ardour is simply a recorder.-2
