Alternatives to EaseUS Partition Master for all platforms with any license

  • GParted

Extremely powerful partition manager. Copy, clone partitions. Can also resize NTFS Windows partitions.

    Free Open Source Linux

    • While GParted is Linux only you can turn it into a live USB/CD with software like Rufus and boot it up from a USB/CD on system startup. It then runs from its own Linux based OS and you can format drives on computers that only runs Windows with it. anonsubmitterJul 2017 • 3 agrees and 1 disagrees Disagree   Agree
    • Needs to be booted from Linux, but can otherwise manipulate most filesystems, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and with some limitations, HFS, HFS+, even exFAT. Of course, ext2, ext3, ext4, and Btrfs. As long as you can run it from a minimal Linux (or BSD?) like GParted Live on the website, it can manipulate partitions, much more than Partition Master. cdanielscoloradoOct 2017 Disagree   Agree
    • GParted is not only free but open source, which automatically indicates higher-than-average quality (in my experience). Also, it has every feature Easeus Partition Manager has, and although it's technically a Linux program, as a live CD it can operate on nearly any platform's HDD or SSD. Highly recommended. Bundleware

This comes bundled with a lot of advertisement crap. Be sure to select advanced install and deselect all but the core feature.

I installed this again as of October 8, 2017, and the only thing it came bundled with was another tool from the same developer. It's a one-checkbox affair – checked by default, but at least none of those "Deny means Accept" games. Unchecking the box and clicking "Next" installed no extra software.

It's not ideal, but much better than what other developers do.

Just checked there is still a bundleware installed by default.

Home version also won 't let you do anything with USB flash drives, requires license code.

I have tested the program (Home version) to extend a FAT32 partition and the programs hangs up on the 35%. I also tried with an usb, and happens the same.

No bootable CD to manage partitions with free Home Edition

You cannot create a bootable CD to manage partitions with the free Home Edition

You can only create a bootable CD to manage partitions with the Professional Edition, not for free.
If you need an application for partition editing usable for free with a bootable CD or working also with 64 bit operating systems, you must use Partition Wizard:

More powerful on resizing NTFS partitions than Parted appears to be.
