Darlene Sonalder added Discreet Launcher as alternative to LaunchThe promise seems kept. Discreet application launcher. No frills. On the home page it is impossible to add anything, but it is possible to add applications to favorites and choose whether they appear with a swipe up or down and vice versa for the application lists. It's still alive and receiving updates, while providing me nice, ad-free experience. I found it to be a good balance between text-based launchers and overly graphical ones. It's simple but enough.
