I've been using this app for a while, and it's been really helpful. I especially like its minimal design, fast speed, easy previewing, and the ability to find duplicate photos that are not exactly the same. I noticed they recently added support for OneDrive and Dropbox. I wish it could also work with Google Drive. I's worth mentioning that it does work with Google Drive if you use the desktop client to sync your files locally first. I really hope they add the ability to scan Google Drive online directly. If they do that, I'd give it 5 stars.
Over the past few days, I found more than 800 similar or duplicate photos in my OneDrive. Deleting them manually is time-consuming, so I searched online for third-party software. I happened to read an article about Cisdem and decided to try out their Duplicate Finder. After a few seconds, the program identified almost all of the duplicate photos.
I didn't have to drag and drop a OneDrive folder into the program; I could simply log in to my OneDrive account.
I had an old 1TB external hard drive I’d been using for years to store my work files. It was almost full, and I knew a lot of that space was wasted on duplicate files. Cisdem Duplicate Finder scanned the entire drive in several minutes and found hundreds of duplicate documents, videos. I was able to easily preview them and delete the unnecessary copies. It helped me free up more than 50GB of space.
Have used this duplicate finder since last year and it works fine. The device cleaning has to be a regular routine so my computer and phone can be light without almost same photos and videos. That's what this cisdem product can do for me to find and remove those repeated files. Simple but useful. Thanks.
I'm happy with it so far. I like the speed and simple design.
I appreciate the speed and efficiency of this program, however, layout looks oversized... and I've got old eyes. Tried it on another pc to make sure it wasn't just a setting. Uncomfortable for me to want to use. Google search made it seem like this is just for Mac.
