Ashampoo Snap is a screen capture and editing software that allows users to capture screenshots or videos, edit them with various tools, and share the results instantly. Its latest version, Ashampoo Snap 16, is faster and more efficient than its predecessors. It supports many resolutions and multi-display environments, and includes features like instant shots, multiple screen text and color extraction, scrolling page capture, timers, and video recordings. It also has a new menu for easier user navigation.

The software has smart desktop capturing and sharing features, including auto-detection of elements under the mouse pointer, custom rectangular or freehand region capture, and sharing options via email and Ashampoo Web.
