The first thing that rather disturbs me is that it's icon/advertising got snuck into my desktop through one of my programs. I've never seen my other program do that before! ..though Advanced claimed that my program recommends it. I knew that my other program had Google somewhere in its details, but not the unsolicited advertising. That aside, any cleaning that does not include cookie whitelisting is not a good cleaning program in my book.

this application does what it says - it cleans up your register, your temp files, your RAM (in the toolkit) and finds more faulty references than any other cleaner app I use to check on eachother (ie System Mechanic, Super Rabbit registry optimizer)
there's an extra download for the ASC defrag app which is worth the bother, mainly because it works better than the standard windows one.
ultimately it can defrag your system master boot file table too - and a later check in the defrag tool shows a nice & perfect master boot file.
cab be a bit cpu-heavy when running but only has to run every once a week or month, depending on how much data you shift on your pc on a daily basis.
will eventually run the naggy "updater" popup from time to time and come up with the eventual (product-related) popup but you can block these easily in your pc's "services" and "startup" -blocking selfbooting utitlities (like HijackThis, System Mechanic).

The user interface is like an acid trip from early 2000s and comes with bundled software. almost like malware at this point.

First, this software installs multiple pieces of adware on your system. Even if you deny all offers during installation it installs 3 other programs anyways.
Second, the program itself is bad. The registry cleaner is overly aggressive and the automatic software updater hardly updates anything. This program doesn't even cover the most popular apps, let alone everything in one's software library.
Last is that the pro version of the software is subscription based. I'm tired of software companies making their software subscription based. There is no reason for it in the vast majority of cases besides squeezing more money out of consumers. 1 year of updates but the consumer can continue using that older version after the 1 year is up would be the logical way to implement licensing. IOBit is not logical though.
Nice comment. What alternative do you suggest ?

Pretty bad, run very slow, recognize as a PuP by ADWcleaner and too aggressive on the registry key, would not be impressed if it bricks some computer. Much more half of the functionality are plugin
it is realy must have... i know this tool for many years, and I'm happy with..
Feature rich, but overly aggressive, includes ad-ware/bundle-ware. The registry cleaner corrupted my Windows 8, on 3 separate occasions. When it didn't corrupt the OS it did speed it up; closing many unnecessary windows processes etc... It allowed me to play fallout 3 on my laptop back in the day, where otherwise it would crash from lack of ram. This being back in 2012. The software has adware. The application has a great modern GUI.
