What is REDACT?

REDACT is an open-source Windows anti-forensics and artifact sanitization suite that permanently destroys 255 system artifacts. It covers every layer of the Windows forensic attack surface reachable from userspace: OS artifacts (logs, registry, NTFS, browser, app traces), live RAM (free page frame overwrite), encrypted volumes (BitLocker + VeraCrypt header destruction), and biometric key material.

Features zero-footprint architecture: Transient Execution Splitting, NTFS File Cliff Masking, and Registry LastWrite Spoofing. Supports 4 wipe standards including 35-pass Gutmann. Includes Auto-Trigger Engine with USB Panic Trigger, Login Failure Trigger, and Dead Man's Switch for automatic HIGH-tier wipes without manual interaction.
